Camping and caravanning by the sea
The Ugglarp camping and caravanning site is a relatively small facility, at least as far as the number of pitches is concerned, so there is plenty of free space for everyone. The sites are situated in two different areas: "Strandängen" and "Lyckan" and the character of the two areas are very different. Strandängen, which means 'beach meadow', is close to the water; and Lyckan, which means 'small field in the wood', is situated at the edge of the wood. The overall environment and natural surroundings are appreciated by many guests for its opportunities for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities. On the site are lots of activities for the whole family. The sea swimming is an obvious favourite, and the sandy beach combined with rocks makes it the best beach in the whole province of Halland.Caravanning
The caravan pitches are split on our two areas. The size of the pitches varies but most are 90-110 m2, with some pitches of 120 m2 or more. Almost all pitches are equipped with electricity with 10A fuses. At some of the pitches, water and sewage facilities are available and included in the price.Motorhome
If you come to us at Ugglarp by motorhome you are of course welcome to use one of our regular pitches. In addition to them we have also prepared special pitches for motorhomes. These pitches are somewhat smaller than the regular ones but they also have electricity with 10A fuses. We offer motorhome pitches on both areas Lyckan and Strandängen. On Strandängen these pitches are located directly by the entrance so it is easy to drive in and out from the site without disturbing other guests.Camping
If you come to us at Ugglarp with a tent there are a couple of alternatives to choose from. The majority of our camping guests choose to be on our special tent area. It is situated on the lower area Strandängen close to our smaller service building where we provide toilets, washing-up and cooking facilities including a hotplate and microwave oven. The pitches are marked out and with a normal sized tent there is more than enough space for both car and tent. In addition to this special tent area we also have pitches on the lower area and on the upper area Lyckan.Placing
To create some space between neighbouring pitches in an easy way all caravans and motorhomes should be reversed into the right hand edge of the pitch. In this way some breathing-space between you and your neighbour will be achieved automatically.Wastewater and toilet waste
On the site there is a designated place for replenishment of fresh drinking water and for emptying wastewater from fixed tanks. Toilet waste from a cassette should be emptied at the service buildings. Toilet waste from fixed tanks should be emptied at the dedicated place. Some pitches with water and sewage connections are available.Reservations
The site is open from April to September each year. Camping Card Scandinavia
To stay with us at Ugglarp you must have a Camping Card Scandinavia with a valid year stamp. If you have no such card or stamp you can obtain it at the reception. The card is free of charge, but the year stamp costs 130 SEK for 2010. For this cost you will also receive a magazine with camping and caravanning articles and a description of all camping and caravanning sites within the SCR association plus many interesting offers for activities and sights worth visiting in Sweden.
