We know that regular food and beverage breaks are important for a successful meeting to create a well needed pause in the work schedule, and to 'recharge your batteries'. But the meal also provides opportunities for meeting informally to chat, mingle and enjoy the time together. We can offer the following: a luxury dinner with white table-cloths and candles, a picnic in the forest with a packed lunch, a simple lunch on the terrace with the sunshine on your face and the sound of the sea, or in a warm cosy grill cottage with the wind whistling outside.

Restaurant Strandkanten

Our restaurant is situated only a stone's throw from the sea in the same building as our reception. Here we normally serve breakfast, lunch as well as dinner. Outside the panorama windows of the restaurant there is a large lovely terrace with a view over the sea. In the restaurant we have also our bar where we happily serve an appetizer with some snacks before dinner and provide drinks and music late into the night.

Breakfast

Our breakfast buffet is served every morning in restaurant Strandkanten. If you prefer enjoying your breakfast quietly in the cottage we can provide you with a breakfast package that you collect when checking in. The freshly baked bread for your breakfast will be found hanging on your door in the morning.

Coffee

Coffee and bread rolls are served in the morning and coffee and biscuits in the afternoon directly by the conference rooms.

Lunch

The conference lunch is served in the restaurant by the sea and consists normally of the Chef's special dish of the day. Lunch is most often served as a buffet.

Dinner

The dinner, which is normally included in our conference package, is served with two courses, with a choice of either a starter or dessert. Naturally you can also order three, four or five course dinners. If you like surprises then the chef decides the menu, but we are very happy to work with you beforehand to create your perfect dinner-menu.

Buffet

Our buffets are much appreciated by the conference guests. If you choose this alternative we set up the buffet in the restaurant and you decide which delicious items you would like to enjoy. For example we can provide an Italian buffet, Scandinavian buffet, Tex Mex buffet, West coast buffet or the exotic Caribbean buffet.

Eat out

It is not necessary that your lunch or dinner has to be enjoyed in our restaurant. On request we will happily arrange your lunch on the beach, or a picnic lunch for a walk along the beach or a grill evening with wonderful sunsets on the beach.

The grill cottage

Our cosy grill cottage can be a perfect finish to a successful working day. Here we can serve a full buffet or just a simple late grill with sausage and bread.

The lobby

A popular conference activity is that we set up a lovely mingle buffet in the lobby outside the conference rooms so that everyone can get together and relax when you have finished working for the day. You of course can choose what type of buffet you would like, but snacks, sandwiches, vegetables with dips and fruit accompanied by beer, cider or even champagne is usually very much appreciated.

Self-catering

If you prefer to make your own coffee or cook dinner in your own cottage, then it is no problem for us. You can bring your own food or we can arrange that for you.
