The ocean and its surrounding nature in Ugglarp make the region special. Swimming is possible in a shallow ocean bay with a sandy beach divided off with rocks that run out in the ocean. The back area of the beach has bushes and grass. From the rocks that run out in the ocean are swimming possibilities.
The beach in Ugglarp has been given the Blue Flag which guarantees clean beaches and waters. On the south part of Sallebjäret is a part of the beach open for dogs.
In the surroundings, field and meadow extend over the fertile sandy soil. Plenty of mixed forest is also present. Ugglarp has countless kilometers of roads and paths for both bike rides and strolls.
